New collection: The beast within
In his view, the human self is divided between bodily "animal" and cultural "human" parts, and he wishes to explore the unknown, the inner world of emotions and behaviors, and to dive deeper into the dark corners where a beast may be sleeping, and how a tiny sound or his nightmare might awaken him.
Which side will succeed in the end? Is it the beast or are we? Will we let the beast come alive?
There will be times in our lives when the beast will defeat our human side even though we frequently use a variety of excuses to justify our lack of control and we fail to be truthful; beneath that cover is a person who fantasizes about flames and struggles with jealousy, envy, or greed to satisfy our desires.
Let the beast sleep forever.
